Planning signal

Where the model tends to fit

Revenue is a planning signal, not an eligibility test. Contract volume, operational complexity, and how often the team needs counsel determine the right scope.

$3M–under $8M

Project, Roadmap, or baseline

Often the right starting range for a focused diagnostic or the Commercial Contracting baseline when deal flow is already recurring.

$8M–under $15M

Flagship middle tier

Often where contracts plus one or two adjacent legal functions create enough recurring work for the modular model to be most useful.

$15M–$30M

Middle tier or Full Stack

The right structure depends more on legal complexity and operating cadence than revenue alone; Full Stack remains a custom-scope decision.

Model explanation

How pricing works

Predictable recurring scope, with exceptions stated up front.

Cream index cards and legal workflow materials arranged on a green desk

The monthly fee covers the recurring work stated in the engagement and each selected module's Scope Addendum. That written scope—not an unstated promise—controls the included Services Bank and operating expectations.

Live counterparty negotiation under Commercial Contracting is available separately at $275 per hour. Any other work beyond the written recurring scope is identified, quoted, and approved before it begins.

Optional modules run in 90-day periods and are reviewed quarterly. The flagship middle tier combines Commercial Contracting with one or two adjacent modules used often enough to justify recurring structure.

Services Bank

Know what the monthly fee carries

Each module has its own included monthly work allowance. There is no universal bank across every practice because the useful unit may be a deliverable, review session, or strategy time.

Exact capacity and operating terms must be settled in the written Scope Addendum before the engagement begins. Only those signed terms apply.

Services Bank · Scope-specific

Included work, made operational in writing.

A Services Bank is the module-specific monthly work allowance stated in the Scope Addendum. It is not a universal hour bucket or a promise of unstated access, response time, or capacity.

Measured by the module
Each Scope Addendum states its included monthly work allowance using the unit that fits the work: defined deliverables, review sessions, strategy time, or another expressly stated measure.
Limited to written scope
Drafting, review, research, negotiation strategy, and ongoing counsel count only to the extent the selected module and its Scope Addendum include them. A Services Bank is not an unlimited-work promise.
Resets each month
Included capacity resets monthly and does not roll forward. That keeps the bank tied to current operating needs instead of accumulating as a future project balance.
Approval before expansion
Work outside the written bank requires notice, a quote, and approval before it begins. Commercial Contracting live counterparty negotiation is the published exception at the $275-per-hour member rate.

Confirm before signing

  • The exact allowance and how it is measured
  • Which requests count against the bank
  • Who may request work and the expected response or turnaround
  • How spikes, overage, urgent requests, and unavailable counsel are handled
  • Which work requires separate scope or specialist referral

Those operating values are engagement-specific. Only the values stated in the signed engagement and Scope Addendum apply.

Three ways to buy legal

Outside counsel, a monthly counsel plan, and a full-time hire each serve a different stage.

Outside counsel

  • Matter-based scope
  • Engaged for defined needs
  • Scope follows each engagement
  • Best for isolated matters

Valverde Legal Group, PLLC

  • Fixed recurring scope
  • Preapproved extras
  • 90-day optional modules
  • Best for recurring complexity

Full-time GC

  • Highest fixed cost
  • Daily availability
  • Comprehensive internal role
  • Best when legal needs are constant

You are choosing between paying per problem, structuring ahead of problems, or hiring before you truly need to.

Roadmap offer

Not ready for monthly?

Legal Function Roadmap

$4,500 fixed fee

A two-week diagnostic for companies that want a written view of their legal exposure and next priorities before committing to a monthly engagement.

  • Written contract and legal-work intake inventory
  • Prioritized legal-risk register
  • Recommended module stack and referral map
  • Written 90-day legal action plan

The written proposal confirms the diagnostic's document and participant boundaries and states whether any portion of the fee will be credited toward a later monthly engagement. No credit should be assumed unless the proposal expressly provides for one.

Pricing FAQ

The commercial terms buyers ask about first.

These answers describe the published model. The signed engagement and Scope Addenda control the actual fee, scope, and operating terms.

Why does every monthly plan start with Commercial Contracting?

The baseline establishes the company-specific agreements, review rhythm, and negotiation context that recurring outside counsel needs. Adjacent modules build on that operating foundation instead of becoming disconnected legal projects.

What is included in the $3,500 monthly baseline?

Month one includes two tailored master agreements: one for goods and one for services. After month one, the recurring scope includes two review-and-revision sessions and five hours of negotiation strategy each month. Live counterparty negotiation is available separately at the published member rate of $275 per hour.

What does a Services Bank actually measure?

It is the included monthly work allowance for one module, stated in that module's Scope Addendum. Depending on the module, the allowance may be expressed through deliverables, review sessions, or strategy time rather than a universal hour bucket. The signed scope controls what counts and how expansion is approved.

Is the monthly fee completely fixed?

The recurring work stated in the engagement and Scope Addenda is covered by the monthly fee. Commercial Contracting live counterparty negotiation is separately billed at $275 per hour. Any other work beyond the written scope is identified, quoted, and approved before it begins.

How long do optional modules run?

Optional modules are selected in 90-day periods and reviewed quarterly. The review is the point to keep, change, or remove a module based on the work the business is actually using.

What does the Full Stack price cover?

Full Stack is a custom integrated six-module scope starting at $10,250 per month. Before engagement, the written scope states the Services Banks, working cadence, access path, response expectations, expansion process, and any urgent or coverage arrangements that apply. The starting price covers only the integrated recurring scope written into those documents.

Is the Roadmap fee credited toward a monthly plan?

Credit treatment is confirmed in the written Roadmap proposal before work begins. No credit should be assumed unless that proposal expressly provides for one.
